DESCRIPTION:MAHADEVI VERMA INTER HOUSE HINDI  DEBATE COMPETITION \n2018-19 \nGeneral Rules and Guidelines \n\nThe classes VI-XII are divided into two groups for the competition:\n\nGROUP – A – Classes   VI\, VII and VIII \nGROUP – B _ Classes    IX\, X\, XI and XII \n\nStudents will be adjudged on the basis of following criterion:\nIntroduction \nBody language\nPronunciation\nSubject Matter\nRebuttal\n\nTopics  for the debate are \n\nFor Middle Group A (Classes 6 to 8)\n\n“Techniqui Ka Badhta Prayog Tanav aur Adhirta ko Badhawa De Raha Hai” \n\nFor Senior GROUP B (Classes 9 to 12)\n\n                                        “Vartmaan Main Bhartiya Janta Dharmandh Ho rahi hai” \n\nThe participants may take the guidance of their concerned House Masters/ Hindi department.\nEach House will have to send two names\, one FOR THE MOTION and one AGAINST THE MOTION for each Group (A and B).In all there will be four names from each house\, two from Middle and two from senior group.\nHousemasters are requested to send the entries through intranet mail to aks\, vkt\, and lkd positively by 11-08-2018.\nFrom this year the responsibility of chairman and moderator of the debate will be performed by the students.\nFor chairman and moderator a representative from each house will get a chance to conduct the proceedings of both Junior and Senior Debates. House masters are requested to send one name separately for the same\,then these names  will be finalized by the debate incharge.\n\n\n Time limit will be 4+1 minutes for seniors and 3+1 minutes for Middle group. A warning bell will be rung 1 minute before the close of time. Rebuttal is the part of debate. No extra time will be allotted for it.\nParticipants are not allowed to read from paper during competition however palm card can be kept for reference.\nDress code for the students will be School Uniform with Tie.\nCompetitors must be present for all the classes on the penultimate day of the debate & on the day of debate to avoid disqualification.\nFor any further clarification House Masters are requested to contact Mr.D.K.Jha\n\n\nHouse Masters are requested to check the details properly before sending it to vkt .
